I’m Head of Doctorate Program of Social Sciences on Territorial Studies, at the University of Los Lagos, accredited for five years (2023-2028).

My research comprises territorial governance systems in remotes areas and spatial restructuration processes. Specifically, it analyses power relations and the emergence of new ways of inhabiting territories, to identify structures that affect development processes.

Research interests: territorial governance, islandness, political geography.
